General Information

Test Centers

The Certification Examination Part I is being delivered at more than 300 professional standardized test centers. These centers are located only within the 50 United States. Most candidates will find a test center located within 90 to 110 miles of their location.

The exact location of the test centers and the availability of the site for the scheduled test date can be viewed from the Prometric website on the examination scheduling screen. Candidates are advised to visit this website to obtain the most up-to-date information about the location and availability of the test sites administering the Certification Examination Part I.

In the event of severe inclement weather, candidates should contact the test center where their examination has been scheduled to inquire as to whether or not the test center will be open on that day for test administration.  In the unlikely event that a test center is closed or is forced to close during an examination administration of Certification Part I for any reason, candidates will be rescheduled by Thomson Prometric for the next available test date.

Please refer to the Test Taking Experience section of this program for information on the process and procedures used at the test centers.
